Adjustments, or manipulation as some would call it…is the minor correction of vertebrae in the spine. The objective of this movement is to realign vertebrae that may have moved out of place for a number of reasons including normal daily activity, sports injuries, or trauma from an auto accident.
When the vertebrae are out of place, it effects the overall muscular and nervous systems of the body. Without proper alignment and flow of all nerves and systems in the body from the brain, we don’t function at our peak.
Dr. Dicey performs all of his therapies from heat, soft tissue massage, muscle stimulation therapy, ultrasound and traction before he adjusts his patients, this allows for a low pressure adjustment that holds well.
Overall, adjustments are an excellent way to keep the body functioning at its highest level. When our body is in alignment, it is able to respond and perform as it was designed to.
